1. When approaching a school bus that has its red signal lights flashing and STOP sign extended on a two-lane highway, you must:

Stop and wait until the flashing lights turn off and the STOP sign is retracted.

Proceed cautiously as children may be crossing in front of the bus.

Stop only if passengers are getting off the bus and crossing the highway.

Yield to pedestrians and traffic, and proceed only when the road is clear.
